ELAC

Schools in California with more than 21 English Language Learners are required to have an English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC). ELAC parents give input about how English Language Learners will be supported at school and at home with learning English. ELAC also helps educate parents about important ways to help their children be successful in school.

ELAC (Comité de Padres de estudiantes de Segunda Lengua) es el grupo de padres mas activo en el plantel escolar. El grupo de ELAC se reúne alrededor de 8 veces por año. Este grupo discute sobre los hechos en Ord Terrace así como en la comunidad. Hemos tenido varias presentaciones de miembros de la comunidad y talleres de maestros para enseñar a los padres como ayudar a sus hijos con las tareas. Esperamos verlos a todos ahí.
